Last Thursday was a perfect summer day at the Oak Marsh Golf Club in Oakdale, MN. A day made even better when a full-card of 144 golfers turned out to raise money for charity at the 7th Annual Russ Schneiderman Memorial Golf Tournament.
Along with great golf, good company, and delicious food, there were inspiring stories and updates from the charities represented and the opportunity to support 4 great causes.
For the third year in a row a record amount was raised, over $90,000 according to Larry Schneiderman. The funds will be shared with 4 charities including: Ronald McDonald House in Minneapolis, University of MN Parkinson’s Research Fund, the National Parkinson’s Foundation, and the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
Since the tournament’s inception by Monica and Russell Schneiderman, almost $800,000 has been donated.
We’ve posted pics from the tournament on our Facebook page, so be sure and check them out there!
Congratulations on a successful event for two fabulous causes!
