Wooddale Builders is one of the Parade participants, and they’ve furnished more Parade Homes with furniture from Schneiderman’s again this year! I toured their model at Stone Bay in Orono last week, and thought you might enjoy getting a little peek at what I saw.
The first image (above) is from the foyer, and one of my favorite things (in addition to our beautiful patterned metallic hall chest and great artwork!!) was the orb chandelier. Definitely right on trend, and it was a perfect choice for the staircase.
Hanging on the other side of the foyer was one of our favorite leaner mirrors. You can see the reflection of a small part of the living room built-in, and a peek into the kitchen area and porch beyond.
Off to the right of the foyer was an office with a soothing grayed-down green paint color, a pretty geometric carpet and, of course, more great artwork and furniture.
This view of the kitchen gives you an idea of how it’s laid out in relation to the office/foyer, as well as a chance to see the nice combination of neutrals in the cabinet, back splash and granite.
Below you can see just a small glimpse of the beautiful setting of this model home in the background, and the porch is perfectly positioned to take in the view. It was a beautiful day when I visited, and I wouldn’t have minded hanging out in our comfy patio furniture for a while!
The wall color in the main living area of the upstairs was a soft gray, complimented by crisp white cabinetry. Our Lily Sofas and nesting cocktail tables with matching end tables make for a nice transitional look in the living room.
This closeup highlights the ebony trim, an interesting design detail, that was seen throughout the entire home.
The office wall color was carried into the bedroom, and they used the gray in our headboard, pillows and artwork to pull in the gray from the living area. Another great light fixture in this space!
The basement had a slightly warmer wall color and a stone fireplace, giving it the cozy vibe that you want for a family room/game room. Our Kateri table, chairs and sideboard work perfectly on this side of the family room.
Cushy pillows in orange and neutrals, a comfortable sectional, glass-based tables in a dark finish, and our gray Carissa chairs (don’t you love the shape?!) finish off the look.
The Kateri line made its way into the bedroom as well in the queen bed, bureau/mirror and matching nightstands. We love the unique look that the combination of poplar and rustic birch with ebony exteriors gives this whole collection.
I talked about and linked to some of our furniture throughout this post, but if you have any questions on any of the furniture don’t hesitate to call or visit one of our showrooms!
