The Friday 5: Green + White Color Inspiration

This time of year we’re craving spring (especially with this warmer weather) and spring means green!

We probably won’t see much of it outside for a bit yet, so we’re getting our green fix today with some decorating inspiration.

1. Draped In Green.

A bold burst of green on these windows makes a big design statement against the deep gray walls.

The white chairs and fireplace provide a nice contrast and keep the room feeling fresh and light.

2. Bottled Up.

We carry green bottles very similar to the ones shown in this light and airy breakfast nook, and I love the color, contrast and texture they add to the space.

(A simple decorating idea – choose one item and repeat it in different sizes, shapes and tints/shades of one color.)

3. The Line Between Modern and Traditional.

Gwen from the Makerista painted her son’s walls Sherwin Williams Rainforest Canopy and had this to say about it:

“The warmth and energy of the green next to the crisp white feels fresh, and the sharp line between the two is modern and relaxed against the more traditional furnishings.”

I couldn’t agree more.

4. Idyllic Island.

Leaning way to the yellow side of green, this vibrant chartreuse island adds a burst of energy and fun to this white kitchen.

5. Wall Refresh.

Painting the walls is always a great way to refresh a space, and BHG has five green suggestions for you – from tart and happy to simple and understated.

If you’re inspired to some green to your space, here are a few more ideas:
