Thanksgiving is almost here and we’ve rounded up some of our favorite ideas to make your’s more creative and enjoyable. Happy browsing…
FOR THE TABLE
Paint your pumpkin.
And use a lot of them. :-) Wow! What a great look by Casa de Perrin. The rest of the table was kept very simple to allow the pumpkins to shine.
Of course, you may need to go smaller scale so that you have room for food, or just put the food on a server or sideboard.
Mix and match.
Mixing and matching doesn’t just apply to dining chairs. It can be done with napkins, placemats, dishes, glassware or silverware.
And while I probably would only choose one or two of those things so that it stands out, it’s a great way to make a unique statement. It also gives a more relaxed feel to the table.
Put a ribbon on it.
Table decor doesn’t have to difficult – sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest impact. A simple ribbon tied around the silverware would be an easy last minute touch to add.

FOR FUN
Playing games.
Whether it’s saying what we’re grateful for or reminiscing over certain memories, we all probably have traditions that we do around the Thanksgiving table every year.
This would be a fun one to add though, wouldn’t it? A fun, free printable game from Alice and Lois. Get it here.
FOR THE KIDS
Coloring placemats.
Ella Claire did such a great job making these cute coloring placemats for the kiddos! And the really great thing is that she made them a free download so that you can use them too.
You’ll find them here.
Cookie Turkeys.
I had so much fun making (and eating) these cookie turkeys that Julie suggested last year. A simple and fun sweet treat for the kids table.
You can find the full details here!
