Now, on to my favorite color ever – GREEN! Perfect for Spring in Minnesota. My tulips and daffodils are just starting to peak their leaves out of the ground, I’m so excited! Enough of my rambling, on to Chad’s article about the delightful, fresh, fun, brilliant, versatile GREEN!
Green is life. Abundant in nature, green signifies growth, renewal, health, environment, peace and ecology. Green is a restful color with some of the same calming attributes of blue. Like blue, time moves faster in a green room. Because there is a natural balance of warm and cool undertones, the color green denotes balance, harmony, and stability. Use several shades of green for a fresh, springtime feel. Green with blue produces echoes of nature – water and forest and can denote new beginnings and growth. Green with brown, tan , or beige syas organic or recycled. Bamboo greens are hot right now.
Green is definitely restful, peaceful, and fresh! With today’s focus on green energy and green living, the color has come to symbolize a complete movement!
You’ll love all the ways you can decorate with green. Create your own little zen paradise with a green living space in cool green tones and natural accents, you won’t go wrong.
You can find a variety of green options at Schneiderman’s Furniture. Take a look at the way green is used to highlight and accent this Origin Bed from Aspen Furniture. Also, this bed is made with environmentally sustainable bamboo panels, so the bed is “green” and it uses the color “green”!
