If you’re a fan of the color turquoise, then you’ve most likely heard of Erin Moser’s blog, House of Turqouise.
By her own admission, Erin is obsessed with the color turquoise and, if you’ve seen her blog, you already know that she’s a master at collecting a lot of great inspiration!
We caught up with her recently and asked a few questions about her blogging life and the color turquoise.
When did you start blogging? “I started House of Turquoise in 2007 (although I originally started with a personal blog back in 2003).”
Why blogging? “I’ve always loved decorating and design, and I wanted a place to store and organize inspirational photos I came across. This was long before Pinterest!”
Why turquoise? “Turquoise truly is my favorite color, it always has been. I love that it can be used in so many ways, with so many colors, in so many different design styles.”

What do you most enjoy about blogging? “Sharing the work of amazingly talented people with others all over the world who love and appreciate color as much as I do!”
What are the biggest challenges of blogging? “Definitely keeping up with email and social media.”
What is your favorite color to pair with turquoise? “Pink–it’s such a cheery, feminine combo.”

Your favorite turquoise image ever? “I have so many favorites, and this dreamy kitchen is one of them.”

Thank-you for such a perfect post on this rainy day! Definitely brightens the day and makes me want find a place in my home for that turquoise credenza. Maybe if I changed the hardware I could work it into my more contemporary yet eclectic home! ????
