As we mentioned in this post on how to DIY a White Faux Brick Wall, we recently converted an area of in the front of our Plymouth store into a Warehouse Loft space. In addition to looking good, it’s also turning out to be a great space for photo shoots!
We shot a variety of rooms in the newly renovated space last week, and we thought you might like a sneak peak of how the white brick room looked staged for one of the shoots.
Cozy Casual Family Room
We loved the crisp, white texture of the brick walls, and we wanted to create an interesting contrast by using darker furniture pieces. I think we succeeded – the walls are a perfect backdrop for this cozy casual family room. I think our stylists struck the perfect balance between light and airy, and warm and inviting.
A bright orange rug was the perfect underfoot accent. It added a fun dose of color, and helps to ground the space. We repeated the happy color in the art and accent chair, as well, to make the space feel more cohesive. Of course, accessories are always the icing on the cake, so we used a mix of them to round out the design. (Notice how they mixed the metals, instead of sticking with just one, to keep things interesting.)
In case you’re interested in recreating this look in your space, we’ve created a mood board for you. Everything on the mood board is from Schneiderman’s — links are included below to some of the main pieces.
