There are obviously so many ways to style and use our furniture that there is no way to show you every possibility in a showroom setting.
So when we have the opportunity (like our most recent photo shoot) to create different looks using the same piece, we run with it.
For the rooms in this post, we started with the Meadow Queen Storage Bed – a bed with simple, clean lines and a slightly rustic finish – and created two completely different looks.
The first bedroom is set in a warehouse loft with rustic brick walls in aged warm tones.
Since we were going for a calm, relaxing retreat in this room, we opted for a neutral palette – hues from dark to light inspired by the wood tones, plus crisp white to make it pop.
A matching nightstand was used to further enhance the calm, cohesive look.
Varying the textures and using an area rug with a large-scale pattern (and just a hint of color) keeps things interesting. We also love how just a couple of simple plants give life to the space.
The walls in the second loft are much lighter — the perfect backdrop for a colorful space.
Our Anthro bedding with it’s slightly bohemian vibe was the inspiration for this space, and our stylists used it to make a bold statement on the bed. More color, pattern and texture was layered in with accent pillows and an area rug.
The fun and funky nine drawer chest, in lieu of a matching nightstand, adds to the eclectic feel of the room. Whimsical accessories finish off the space.
A great example of mixing, but not exactly matching, furniture and accessories for a look that feels collected over time.
Which look is your favorite?
