Geometrics are still going strong in interior design (and baking?), so we thought we would jump on the bandwagon for today’s post!
THE ROOM:
In the DIY category, it doesn’t get much more creative than this honeycomb wall that Mandi from Vintage Revivals did for her daughter’s room!
We can’t imagine the time it took her to figure all of this out and then to actually do it. Most of us will be perfectly content to sit back and admire, but there may be some of you who want to take this project on. You’re in luck, because she shows you how in this tutorial.
THE RECIPE:
Honeycomb cookies? What are the odds? Of course we had to post them with this room!
These geometric gems were made by Emma at A Beautiful Mess, and you can find the recipe here.
ENJOY…
I have a slight obsession with honey comb and love the wall. Just a matter of where I could apply it in my home!!
Hi Natalie! I understand the obsession – it’s a great look! :-) I love the scale and color for this little girl’s room, but I think this wall treatment could also look great done in a larger scale. Possibly put a gray wash on the 1×2’s and use a variation of grays for the paint color? A slightly more sophisticated, adult version. So many ways you could go with this!
